INCARNATION.
There is nothing so secular that it cannot be sacred, and that is one of the deepest messages of the Incarnation. Dead mind cannot take effective action; their power of influence on others lasts only till the grave. Deeds and actions that energise others idea’s belong only to the living. Well, then, look at the facts in this case. The Saviour works mightily among people, every day and is invisibly persuading numbers of people all over the world, both within and beyond the Greek-speaking world, to accept the faith and be obedient to one own’s teaching. Can anyone, in face of this, still doubt that lives have been risen, or rather that they themselves are the Life? Does a dead one prick the consciences of alive/s…?
The Self-revealing of the Word is in every dimension — above, in creation; below, in the Incarnation; in the depth, in Hades; in the breadth, throughout the world. All things have been filled with the knowledge of things. All flesh is grass, is not only metaphorically, but literally true, for all those creatures which we behold, are but the herbs of the field, digested into flesh in them, or more remotely carnified in our selves. Now further, we are what we all nothing, but one of our selves; and that not in an allegory, but a positive truth; for all this mess of flesh which we behold, came in at our mouths: this frame we look upon, has been upon our trenchers; In brief, we have devoured ourselves and yet do live and remain ourselves.
We are all so different from metamorphic memorial creation, in fact, that we transcend any difference with it. We are present to creation without being any less individual by that presence. We are present to the lowest part of the earth, breathing it in to life, without ceasing to be mightiest. And we are always giving more of ourselves to creation, we who joined with creation in the incarnation, we who seek to draw all creation into our Triune life. We are always and, in all things, seeking to realize the mystery of our embodiment.
Everything is perspectival, in other words, it all depends on our perspective, our frame of reference. Since our informational world is of mental abstractive construction, it’s always up to us to decide what’s real to us — everything we find real is indeed real to us, not necessarily real to others who are at the same time, for a lack of a better word, our past and future incarnations. We all are different points of view on oneself, within our own holographic self-reflection.
When writers die they become books, which after all, will be nothing new except what has now been forgotten, indeed, not too bad an incarnation.
